Locking quirks in gets expensive, but it's cheaper to do when they're at lower levels, so setting them aside and locking good quirks early is a great way to save some money in the long run.

Be sure to lock those positive quirks in before they get a full tray of positive quirks, as then any quirk might be 'bumped' by something random and less beneficial.
